    THAT GLOBE IS SO …
    THAT GLOBE IS SO COOL, I WANTS IT.

  2. rjinont says:

    anyone else catch …
    anyone else catch the book titles in the background? =)

  3. Magikomik says:

    @ChaseKittens James …
    @ChaseKittens James Randi is entertaining person, skeptic, debunking entertainers, provided they say they are “true” psychic. Magicians have been doing that for centuries. He shall rather spend time in discovering secrets of governments doing the true deception on people. Not entertainers.

  4. ChaseKittens says:

    @Magikomik …
    @Magikomik debunking criminals? How do you mean?

  5. pghxskaterx says:

    @Magikomik …
    @Magikomik Debunking criminals? Are you retarded?

  6. Covey69 says:

    Hey why don’t you …
    Hey why don’t you disprove that person, Rick Simpson.
    After finding out he could cure his own skin Cancer topically,
    He grew Cannabis on his land and gave it away freely for 4 years in it’s essential Oil.
    Typically on the street people smoke it a call it Oil, he made the purest substance he could and fed it to many. He cured Cancers, Diabetes, arthritis, asthma and many, many more.
    Sounds like snake eh?
    Theirs a documentary on it, made by one of the people cured.
    Quite the story and no money.

  7. Magikomik says:

    James Randi has his …
    James Randi has his own game and his foundation with million dollar prize. If that would be worth ANYTHING, he would be debunking true criminals, and would not waste my time and his time, and of hundreds of others, on this bullshit.

  8. Buzzkillskeptic says:

    @shgiruss
    You …

    @shgiruss
    You should practice what you preach. Have a look at more than Zammit’s page. You’ll find that he’s a liar who couldn’t stick to his conviction and also claims to be a psychic of sorts himself. He also wants to be the sole judge of his “Prove the afterlife exists” challenge even though his sole qualification is that he’s a lawyer… Bravo. Your over-willingness to take things at face value is your biggest flaw. Research independently before you come to such absolutes.

  9. ebrobaru says:

    @shgiruss Victor …
    @shgiruss Victor Zammit? Are you kidding? Do you even know what is this guy´s challenge? His challenge is for Randi to prove that the afterlife doesn´t exist. See the problem here? You cannot disprove a negative. Of course this guy being a lawyer, he know he can never loose that challenge. Talk about a bogus challenge. You need to get your head straight

  10. ebrobaru says:

    @shgiruss Scientism …
    @shgiruss Scientism? What the is that? Randi{s challenge is NOT a myth. Many have tried out and of course failed. The money has been notarized. Sounds pretty real to me. By the way, he has never claimed to have any scientific training at all. Something that you would know if you care to read a little.

  11. shgiruss says:

    @Buzzkillskeptic …
    @Buzzkillskeptic You have to read to be more informed (you know read books). I would rather listen and try to understand a Physics Major explain physics than a magician explain physics. Besides Randi would not take zammits challenge and randis challenge is a myth (ironic). Read and dont fall into your belief trap of scientism.

  12. Buzzkillskeptic says:

    @shgiruss
    Your …

    @shgiruss
    Your rants are bias and closed minded. You’ve settled in your belief and can’t be wrong. There’s a million dollar challenge going that negates your ‘categorical rejection’ theory for anyone who can prove the existence of the supernatural or paranormal abilities (just like mediums and folk that deal with ectoplasm).
    As for the “My Big Toe” reference, sounds just as “New Age” and as poorly interpreted as “What the bleep”. Doesn’t mean it’s reality by any stretch of the imagination.

  13. Buzzkillskeptic says:

    @AtheistResources

    @AtheistResources
    Being delivered as we speak. ;)

  14. AtheistResources says:

    @Buzzkillskeptic …
    @Buzzkillskeptic It’s called “Mova Globe”. Light which penetrates the globe hits the photovoltic cells which generate electricity to move the globe without use of batteries. This also means the globe will become static when no light is present.

  15. Buzzkillskeptic says:

    @ebrobaru
    Awesome, ta.

  16. ebrobaru says:

    @Buzzkillskeptic …
    @Buzzkillskeptic The store “Things Remembered” And you can even have it ebgraved. You´re welcome

  17. Buzzkillskeptic says:

    I just have one …
    I just have one question in this for Mr Randi or anyone else open for my curiousity..
    Where the does one get that globe featured in the background? Looks awesome.

  18. mistereveready says:

    i want a globe like …
    i want a globe like his. that was nifty. glad randi is smart enough to encourage thinking. i wish critical thinking lessons in school started in pre-k and was a subject instead of religion. i would have gladly dropped my religion classes for those that taught me to be skeptical and encourage me to learn about things even if they go against what I want. too many people think that what they want/believe equates to true.

  19. MrEzeuss says:

    @spookyruthy
    It’s …

    @spookyruthy
    It’s the argument i always used.
    The fact is that if you read the bible there’s mention of people outside of paradise. Adam and Eve where the first people (in paradise?), but there is mention of people besides them. When they are cast out of paradise they just live amongst the ‘other’ people.
    But then again, they would only make it untill the days of Noah, that’s where it gets really confusing ;)

  20. loucious22 says:

    lol he has a …
    lol he has a rotating globe

  21. ebrobaru says:

    @shgiruss fine, …
    @shgiruss fine, have any of your “mediums” to prove that ectoplasm come from him.

  22. shgiruss says:

    Einstein was not a …
    Einstein was not a materialist as Randi and fellow scientism believers claim. For those open minded skeptics that want the truth no matter how far off from mainstream may be, read “My Big Toe” by Thomas Campbell. A physicst that workes for NASA rocket program….go ahead Randi the magician, tell us about the fabric of consciousness.

  23. shgiruss says:

    Randis belief ( …
    Randis belief (scientism) is just as bias as the christians. Both are wrong and we do survive death. Randis comments are inaccurate about ectoplasm as he defines coming “from” the bodies of spirits. No it comes from the physical medium in trance and also from the sitters albeit most from the medium. Are there charlatans out there ? absolutley! But scientism is lazy close minded non testing bias where essential science is open to observation, testing and evaluation, not categorically rejection.

  24. benaaron71 says:

    The JREF should …
    The JREF should stipulate that if the hoax is proven to be thus, they should pay 1 million dollars to a true scientific endeavor.

  25. scancool says:

    hahha the ectoplasm …
    hahha the ectoplasm reminds me of the episode in south park when Randi said he saw a spooky ghost, (that was the episode Over Logging)
