    There’s a …
    There’s a difference between looking for God, and trying to find evidence for him and claiming to have found god through other means and expecting others to just believe you.

  16. jursamaj says:

    What’s so …
    What’s so unexpected? He’s right, as a scientist, if you think there is something that deserves investigating, you investigate. That’s what the 2 guys claim they’re doing, and for that he respects them.

    He still thinks they’re wrong that there’s anything to it, but that’s a separate issue.

  17. TheFounderUtopia says:

    Watching this, I …
    Watching this, I feel as though all the years of both defending and having respect for Mr. Randi have been validated. This truly shows that whatever he may believe and however he chooses to demonstrate those beliefs, he is an open minded person.

    I only hope that in time, the majority of his angered followers realize this and choose to follow his example, rather than just invoking his name like some godly authority merely to validate a prejudicial vendetta against certain fields of science.

  22. brysonz says:

    @jursamaj, What do …
    @jursamaj, What do you think I am crazy? I don’t think anyone has special powers. I am a skeptic. I am all about logic and reason. I agree with your comment. I don’t think Randi has gone to any “haunted” locations to do an investigation. I think he has said int the past that it would be a waste of his time because the “entities” would not show while hes was present. Sorta like how people lose their “powers” when in a controlled environment or when Randi is present.

  23. brysonz says:

    @Macrochenia, Yes …
    @Macrochenia, Yes he has had that challenge for a very long time I think he started with $10k. I think it would be a cool tv show to have Randi go into some of these “haunted” locations and do some real debunking and offer a challenge that if he can catch paranormal activity in a controlled situation you win some dough…. something like that. It will never happen but I still think it would make a great tv show.

  24. ananiasacts says:

    @SexyMelon, I …
    @SexyMelon, I don’t think it takes imagination to realize that people who believe in thought crimes are morally bankrupt. And when they try to drill that filthy ideology into the minds of young children they become genuine criminals. Blasphemy is a thought crime. That’s all a decent person needs to know to condemn all the Abrahamic religions as inane monstrosities. Those who pretend they cannot see this simple truth are most likely just liars. Even Karl Pilkington isn’t that stupid.
