Discussing the evidence for and against our continued existence after death. I mostly look at the phenomenon known as “NDE” or near-death experience. As an atheist, I keep an open mind, and I believe that NDE’s present a problem for the materialistic worldview. As rationalists and freethinkers, it is our duty to take new evidence into account. NDE’s can not merely be shrugged-off or easily explained-away; and therefore, I think we should pay this phenomenon its due attention. Why not?
